Health Guarantee:

• Initial Veterinary Examination: Within 10 days of purchasing your parrot, please have them examined by a licensed avian veterinarian. If the veterinarian determines that your parrot was clinically ill or sustained an injury likely occurring before or on the date of purchase, contact us immediately.

• Health Assurance: We guarantee that our parrots are free from infections or contagious diseases at the time of adoption. While we cannot control every aspect of your parrot’s health—such as genetics, diet, exercise, and overall care—we are committed to supporting you in maintaining their well-being.

• One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: If your parrot passes away within one year from birth due to a genetic condition, or is diagnosed with a congenital or hereditary disorder affecting their health, we will replace the parrot with one of equal value at no additional cost. A licensed veterinarian must certify the cause of death.

Your Responsibilities:

To help ensure your parrot remains healthy:

• Veterinary Records: Provide us with a copy of the initial veterinary examination (medical record) within 4 business days of receiving your parrot.

• Vaccinations and Care: Your parrot will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations. Please avoid administering additional vaccinations within the first ten days. Continue regular veterinary check-ups and follow recommended care practices.

Exceptions to Our Guarantee:

While we ensure your parrot’s health at the time of adoption, certain factors are beyond our control:

• Temperament and Physical Attributes: We cannot guarantee your parrot’s temperament, size, weight, color, markings, or breeding ability.

• Owner Negligence: The guarantee is void if the parrot becomes ill due to neglect, improper diet, inadequate care, or failure to provide timely vaccinations and veterinary attention.

• Surgical Procedures: This guarantee does not cover costs related to elective surgeries or procedures.

Before your parrot comes home, they undergo a comprehensive health check by a licensed avian veterinarian, ensuring they are in optimal health. After adoption, please have your parrot examined by your veterinarian within four days to confirm their well-being.
